Athena Howk (she/her/hers) is a binary trans femme lesbian and educator working in the Buffalo area. She possesses a Bachelor’s degree in English, and a Master’s degree in English Education with a focus on queer teaching of literature. Athena has taught at several different schools in the Buffalo area including Villa Maria college, Hamburg High School, and the University at Buffalo.
Aster Altreuter (they/them/theirs): identifies as nonbinary and queer. They hold a Bachelor’s in Dance from Smith College and have worked with Buffalo and New York City-based nonprofits, both internally and as a consultant. Their background is in development, fundraising, and data analysis with a focus on arts administration.
